An useful way to create social apps? Not sure yet, but looks interesting. What is up with Acrobat.com

Codename “Cocomo” is a Platform as a Service that allows Flex developers to easily add real-time social capabilities into their RIA (rich Internet applications). Comprised of both Flex-based client components and a hosted services infrastructure, Cocomo allows you to build real-time, multi-user applications with Flex in less time than ever before. And because Acrobat.com hosts the service, issues like deployment, maintenance, and scalability are taken care of for you.

Add social features to your existing Flex apps or build totally new ones, such as real-time productivity/collaboration apps, multiplayer games, and audio/video chat.

I have a great idea. Make a crap web-app, call it photoshop express and confuse your existing and new users as to what Photoshop is or does. Heck you can even remove red-eye… ugh.

Adobe released another app from their “labs” – Share a free web-based (flex) service that allows you to easily share, publish and organize your documents.

According to Adobe, with Share you can:

Convert 5 documents to Adobe PDF.
Send documents without email attachments.
Access your documents from anywhere.
View all the documents you have shared or received in one place.
Post a link to your document on a wiki or blog.
Embed a Flash® preview of your document on any website.
Limit access to a document to a list of recipients.
